Movie Quotes Meme
A lot of peole have been doing this, and I think it's fun.

Hence, the Movie Quotes Meme!

I think some are easy, some are not quite so easy, but none are verrrrry hard...

Movie quotes meme
1. Pick 15 of your favorite movies.
2. Go to IMDb and find a quote from each movie.
3. Post them here for everyone to guess.
4. Fill in the film title once it's guessed.
5. NO GOOGLING/using IMDb search functions.

1. X: There's a lot of statues in Europe you haven't bought yet.
Y: You can't blame me. They've been making statues for some two thousand years, and I've only been collecting for five.
Citizen Kane, answered correctly by [info]svartalfur

2. Soon I'm gonna be sucking down piƱa coladas in a hot tub with six girls named Amber and Tiffany. (Hint: Which leaves us only with the How; and therein, as the Bard would tell us, lies the rub. [said by the same character])

3. I don't care about the money. I'm pulling back the curtain. I want to meet the wizard. (Hint: CRS)

4. A: To England!
B: To mankind!
C: To Manchester United!
The Day After Tomorrow, answered correctly by [info]synn

5. You still don't know who I am, do you? After all these years, you still don't have a clue. (Hint: The title of this movie consists of a female name and the opposite of a Red-Hot-Chili-Peppers-song.)

6. You're nuts to let a girl go that calls you Lotte, I tell you that as a friend. (Hint: Cameron Diaz in a cage.) Being John Malkovich, answered correctly by [info]svartalfur

7. All through dinner, I had one thought, one desire. To touch you. To hold you. (Hint: about the lead actor in this movie: He has twice played characters with the same first and last name. Not in this movie, BTW.)

8. May I ask you - have you ever been in love before? (Hint: Not Aphrodite, but close.)

9. Noah was a drunk. Look what he accomplished. And no one's even asking you to build an ark. (Hint: I think it's more than justified that the actor who plays the character who says these lines, has been cast as "the voice" in this movie. ;-) ) Dogma, answered correclty by [info]synn

10. Come on, he's one guy, and he's French. (Hint: Think "the middle one of three".)

11. I've done this, because philosophically I'm sympathetic to your aim. Kill Bill (Vol. 1), answered correctly by [info]svartalfur

12. You wake up at Seatac, SFO, LAX. You wake up at O'Hare, Dallas-Fort Worth, BWI. Pacific, mountain, central. Lose an hour, gain an hour. This is your life, and it's ending one minute at a time. You wake up at Air Harbor International. Fight Club, answered correctly by [info]synn

13. Give me a stopwatch and a map, and I'll fly the Alps in a plane with no windows. Hunt for Red October, answered correctly by [info]joanwilder

14. You know what you are? You're God's answer to Job, y'know? You would have ended all argument between them. I mean, He would have pointed to you and said, y'know, "I do a lot of terrible things, but I can still make one of these." You know? And then Job would have said, "Eh. Yeah, well, you win." (Hint: This quote is very, very typical of a lot of characters the actor who says these lines played in a lot of movies.) Manhattan, answered correctly by [info]svartalfur

15. Think of it: never a man-made sound... and then Mozart! (Hint: Think sentimental. Verrrrry sentimental.)

Ah, I love that movie so much! (And I was thinking of "One ping only" as my quote for HfRO, but I thought it would be too easy. It IS one of the best lines, though, if not THE best...)
