gacked from svartalfur, or "stolen", to be more precise, since he said he'd tag only those who don't want to do it... I could have lied and said that I don't want to, but I'm an honest cheat if nothing else :-P

a) List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself

1. A long, long time ago ~~in a galaxy far, far away~~ I moved from the very northern part of this country to the very southern part - mainly, because I was desperate to attend a stage performance at one particular theatre in this town at least once. I always say that it happened due to a mixture of very different reasons (which is true, in a way), but the main reason was that one.

2. I love solving riddles. For instance, I spend long hours (especially at night) online trying to get from one URL to the next one... I've learned a lot about binary codes, ascii codes and the like during those hours...

3. I can't carry a tune in a bucket. I know tons and tons of song lyrics by heart, though.

4. One of the persons I most would like to meet one day is Paul Auster. Unfortunately, he almost never goes on reading tours. I met his wife (Siri Hustvedt) once, though. She is amazing! She even showed me holiday pics of her then 15-year-old daughter Sophie...

5. I've been to New York three times, but I've never been to Rome. And I studied Latin at university...

6. When I was little, I used to have a huge crush on Harrison Ford. I still fancy him a bit - and I can't wait for May 22nd... Indi's BACK!!!

7. The first time I really talked to my dad was on the twelve-hour-drive from my parents' (and my former) home to the city where I now live. We had the car full of stuff (since it was the drive that moved me out of my parental home), and I was pretty scared before we left, because I had no idea what we could possibly talk about during those hours... They went by in a blink!

And I tag the seven people on my flist who haven't done it yet. You know who you are...!

	I can't sing either -- at all -- but I love to anyway : ) I'm always glad to know I'm not the only one... Maybe you've heard this one before... but it's one of my favorite riddles: "I am neither flesh, nor bone, nor fish, nor fowl, yet I have fingers and thumbs just the same - what am I?" 	Ooookay, I'm back! I first thought of a starfish, but a starfish "is flesh" and it's "fish", too, at least in a way... I'd go with "glove", even though "fingers" and "thumbs" would be stretching the meaning of those words to quite a limit... but I'd still go with "glove"....? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Ich war noch niemals in New York..." Na, dann wird's aber mal höchste Zeit, würde ich sagen! Immerhin ist New York a) die schöneste Stadt der Welt (at least IMO) und b) die Stadt Paul Austers! Wenn das kein Zeichen ist??? Also, hopphopp - mal wieder rüber über den großen Teich! ;-) (Reply to this) (Parent)
