Seven Questions Meme
Seven Question Meme, gacked from [info]svartalfur:

Not just any seven questions though, no, to keep it interesting, seven questions as per below - just copy and paste the following, replace the blanks with something you want to know/ask (e.g. 3. Donkeys or sandcastles and why?), anything you want, fannish, personal, silly, surreal or deep, comment away and I'll answer honestly as I can! Then post this in your own LJ and see what kind of things people want to ask you! (If you feel like it, that is.)

1. What do you think of ________________?
2. When did you last ____________?
3. __________ or ___________ and why?
4. What did you ______________?
5. What's your favorite ______________?
6. How would you ______________?
7. Who would you most like to _____________?

1. I love fashion! As a form of art (because that's what I think it is), as a phenomenon to observe and as a fun part of life. If I were a bit slimmer and had more money, I'd indulge in wearing designer clothes as often as possible! I'm also very interested in make-up and lingerie and, of course, shoes!

2. I honestly don't remember which was the last one I saw in a theatre. Maybe Live Free or Die Hard.

3. Hm. Mansion, I think. Because, sometimes, size does matter.

4. I went to work during the day and I had a little party with about 20 friends in the evening.

5. Expressionist art in general. But my favourite painters are Georges Braque, Egon Schiele and Yves Klein.

6. That's a tough one! I would like to say that I'd oppose them, but I'm not sure if I really would be courageous enough to do that. Of course, that's something we always ask ourselves here where I live (in Germany): 'What would I have done during the Nazi time/when the Nazis took power?' I honestly have no idea what I would have done back then or would do in a situation like the one you described. I think that maybe I'd emigrate.

7. Since the saying goes 'Never be on stage with animals or children' (because they always steal the show/attention, no matter what they do *g*)... I think Thomas Holtzmann, whom I consider to be one of the greatest stage actors of our time. OTOH, I'd die of admiration - so all I could ever play if I were in a play with him would be a corpse.

Hurray fashion! Though personally I don't really follow high fashion/designers, I just go by what I like. : )

6 is definitely a hard question -- and I don't think I know anyone who hasn't asked themselves what they would have done when the Nazis took power, German or not. I think it's interesting how many people say they absolutely would oppose them, when sociological and psychological studies (not to mention reality) show that most people wouldn't.

I don't think I'm familiar with Thomas Holtzmann, but I'll take your word that he's great : )

1. Difficult. I see him as a very, very top-ish character, so it takes a lot to convince me he'd bottom. But if it's well written (convincing and plausible), I'm in.

2. Pizza - two days ago; beer - two days ago; coke - I think three days ago

3. Usually I prefer high heels, because I like fancy shoes and I can wear high heels all day (or night) long without any problems. But I also like sneakers. They're comfy and they can be 'classy', too. It all depends on whatever else I'm wearing.

4. The night before or the night after? A couple of friends of mine and I rented an appartment on Sylt for the DH weekend. We arrived on Friday, spend the day at the beach, cooked and ate chili con carne in the evening and spent most of the night drinking wine and theorising. We got up very early the morning of the day HP was released to collect our pre-ordered copies at a bookstore in Westerland and we spent the whole day reading. One friend of mine and I finished at exactly the same time (around 9pm) and then we went for another walk along the beach, talking about everything till very late at night.

5. So far - OotP. And PS in second place.

6. Oh, I like that question! I think I'd like to be a rather small, 'supporting' character who - accidentally - gives the clue that finally leads to the solution in a crime novel. Like the passer-by who asks "Why didn't they ask Evans?" in Agatha Christie's novel of the same name.

7. In reality or in a dream-world/fictional world?
In reality, I'm still very happy dating my husband (whom I have been dating for nearly 12 years now).
In a dream-world (as in "who would you like to date/shag at least once, if you were given the possibility?", I'd say Jeremy Irons and/or Meryl Streep, as I think both are intensely erotic and fascinating. Or Paul Auster.
In a fictional world (meaning: fictional character(s) I'd like to date): Morpheus from "The Matrix".

I could've used being at a beautiful place like Sylt to help me over my first DH shock. That way you even have great memories. *g*

I was at a release party. Everybody was so annoyed because of the carpet book, and they would've liked to torture not only the guy who put it up but every single reader. I was really tempted to announce the deaths. (Of course I didn't do it, it would've been too mean, but I was astonished that nobody else did. No RL trolls here, good to know. ;D)

I'm definitely with you on Jeremy Irons and Meryl Streep (do you know The French Lieutenant's Woman per chance?), and Paul Auster. How could I forget his New York Trilogy when asked for fave books?
